The Indian team won their first ODI series in the fifth ODI match against South Africa.

In the 5th ODI match at Port Elizabeth, South Africa won the toss. Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed for 34 in the opening batsmen of the Indian team. But Rohit Sharma, who played moderately on the other end, scored 115 runs.

Virat Kohli added 36 runs and Shreyas Aiyar 30 runs. The Indian team scored 274 for 7 wickets in 50 overs. Kid took 4 wickets.

South Africa’s opening batsman Amla scored 71 and Marcrom 32. Following Tunnel’s dismissals, Miller added 36 runs and Clans 39. The team lost to 201 in 42.2 overs after being dismissed by other players. The Indian team won the match by 73 runs.

Kuldeep took 4 wickets in the Indian side and Pandya and Sangakkara bowled two wickets. Kohli-led Indian team have achieved the first one-day series in the South African soil with a 4-1 lead in the series.
